“Our commitment to service did not end with our time in the Marine Corps—we believe strongly in supporting the community that supports us,” said Koʻolau Distillery CEO Ian Brooks. “We first learned about the Hawaiʻi LGBT Legacy Foundation through members of our VIP Club. After learning more about the Foundation’s mission and its impact throughout Hawaiʻi, we wanted to find a way to show our support.”

“We’re grateful to Koʻolau Distillery for turning its support for Honolulu Pride into direct support for our community, ” said HLLF Executive Director Randy Soriano. “Partnerships with companies like these help us to create a more inclusive Hawaiʻi and give people a chance to engage with our foundation in new and exciting ways.”

Koʻolau Distillery’s KaLā Vodka is handcrafted with Hawaiian artisan water, golden corn and aloha. The Hawaiian word “KaLā” can mean “sun” or “to lighten one’s burdens,” reflecting the spirit’s smooth and pure taste.
